The placeholder image we use for our racing cards is the Mario Andretti card from the vast Sportscasters set released between 1977 and 1979. I first learned about these cards when Leaf released their Sportscaster insert set in 2005 that borrowed heavily from the original cards. The original set was a mail-away subscription set that featured athletes from almost every sport and pop culture figures. I really like the simple design.
